In an effort to improve the transition from middle to high school, HPHS is offering a Summer Bridge Program in July aimed at improving skills and introducing students the school and its expectations for school year 2018-19.
“The summer is a perfect time to allow students, who will be new to our building, the opportunity to get to know our faculty, administration, and school,” said Nicole Isley-McClure, our principal.
The bridge program offers classes in literacy and algebra that have a technology component. There will be a field trip as well.
The program starts July 2 and ends Aug 2 and meets from 8 am to 2:30 pm.
Students who qualify for bus transportation will be bussed to and from school, and all students will be provided with breakfast and lunch.
If a form is submitted, your child is considered enrolled and expected to attend all sessions. More information will come July 2. Please call 301-572-6400 for more questions.
